Charity Soul goes Geordie…. We are delighted to announce a formal relationship with Newcastle University Centre for Cancer, headed by Professor Rakesh Heer PhD FRCS.
They will become Charity Soul recipients of donations made by the general public from our future fundraising activities, replacing Dr Fiona Frame, who was previously at Hull University, but has now moved on to other activities.
Members of Charity Soul visited the Centre for Cancer research and were formally introduced to Professor Herr, Dr Jennifer Munkley and their team, and were given an insight into the new and exciting development being undertaken by Professor Heer’s team of dedicated and enthusiastic staff.
A very interesting afternoon was had by all which culminated in Charity Soul presenting a cheque for £5,000 for which we hope will be the first of many donations.
